Beauty and the BEAST
this weekend, adam and i went with our friends to see a FREE theatre production of beauty and the beast. although i am not a huge disney fan at all, it was still neat to see a theatre producation of B&B. the costumes were amazing and i loved that it was outside on a hill at night. every summer zilker theatre productions does a free production of a broadway play at zilker park. They get big sponsors so that the productions are free to attend.

adam and i have been married for 1 month!
here we are at enchanted rock in fredricksburg the first month we started dating. "i have found the ONE my heart loves." ~song of songs 3:4
adam and i have been married for ONE month and it is amazing how much our lives have changed, all in a good way, just in a month.
in order to celebrate, adam just told me he has a suprise weekend getaway planned! i cannot figure out where in the world (well, actually, where in TEXAS) we could be going. the only hint: it's THREE hours from austin.
does anyone have a guess of where you think he could be taking me? i guessed the riverwalk but that's not three hours away.

my bachelorette weekend on lake travis
two weeks before the wedding, my friends and i got together for a bachelorette weekend on lake travis. my friends rented a lake house for me and we stayed there two nights. the weekend was one of my favorite times ever. we made great memories eating at the oasis and carlos-n-charlies, hanging out at the beautiful house and chatting, and boating. by the end of the second night, we were so tired. we stayed at the house and watched wedding movies, father of the bride and 27 dresses. they just happen to be two of my favorite movies!
thanks so much to anna, sara, amy beth, christina, nicole and amy for the amazing weekend! i know you all put a lot of work in planning and i couldn't have asked for a better time! i really appreciate all you did for me and most of all, i appreciate your friendship!

adam and i's goals for this year
right after adam and i got married and before we went on our honeymoon, we sat down at chuy's and thought about some things we wanted to do together our first year as newlyweds.
- go ziplining--did that in jamaica, mon.
- take dance lessons
- eat on the lake
- spend time at the ranch
- go camping--AHHH, i am very afraid to do this. i have never been camping before. we will see how long it will take to check this one off of the list!
- find a special way to give back to the community
- go on a boat cruise
- take two more trips, one of which would be international (aside from our honeymoon)
