"when the dog bites, when the bee stings, when i'm feeling sad...i simply remember my favorite things...and then i don't feel so bad." the sound of music our christmas pic this year.

these are a few of my favorite things...
- my husband. let me tell ya...i am pretty lucky for getting such a good catch.
- my parents. again, let me tell ya, i'm pretty lucky on this one, too. you don't get to choose who your parents are, but if i could have chosen, i would have picked the same ones.
- spending time with family. of course, this includes our oh-so-cute niece and nephews.
- spending time with friends. doing whatever.
- teaching presh 5 year-olds!the most fun job ever. gosh, if you need a confidence booster, work with a bunch of 5 year-olds because they love to tell you how wonderful you are. it's totally my dream job (minus the fact that school starts at 7:30!).
- trying new things. enough with the ordinary.
- talking. it's probably my fav. thing to do of all time. esp. on the phone. talking to friends, talking to people i've never met before.
- traveling. esp. out of the country. that way you can see how other people live or how people used to live a long time ago.
- spring and fall. not too hot. not too cold. just right. oh, and nice and green outside!
- meeting new people. and hearing their stories.
